(Man of the Cliff ) is a true Colorado event. The 2011 Event is the 3rd year that Red Cliff has hosted this fundraiser for (First Descents ). Events include axe throw, speed chopping, caber toss, keg toss, archery, hammer throw, and two man cross cut. Flannel shirts are required to participate and beer is poured freely throughout the 2-day event. The 2011 sponsor is (Stranahan's Whiskey ) Alternative meaning: "Man on the Cliff" is an analogy relating to argumentation in Policy Debate. The analogy imagines the world in the status quo as a man, walking towards a cliff. ==Affirmative strategies== The affirmative team has several responsibilities to the man on the cliff, each of which correspond to a stock issue.
